If you're new to the website or don't follow my Instagram, Nugget aka Nugg is a rescued mini horse we adopted in May with the help of a horse rescue I volunteer at. Nugg was the most emaciated horse any of us had ever seen. He was starving, dehydrated and had been abused. I was told to "prepare myself for him not to make it". We didn't know if his little body could recover.
With the help of the horse rescue, veterinarians and a lot of care, Nugg is on the mend! We are about 10 weeks(at the time of this writing) out from his rescue date on May 1, 2023. He has been able to rapidly, but safely gain weight, he has got 4 donkey friends and a family who loves him. I can see him grazing today as I type up this listing from the porch overlooking the yard.
Everyone has fallen in love with little Nugg and his journey, so with the help of a customer, I had these stickers and other goods made. The proceeds from the sale of these stickers, mugs and pins will go to Slaughter 2 Success, which is the nonprofit horse rescue I volunteer a with. The funds will go towards the care of the horses at the rescue now and in the future.
